Are you as EGGcited as we are?! 
We have exciting news coming from the Hopkins Media Center this month! We have 12 fertile chicken eggs going into the incubator. We should have baby chicks hatching by March 20. Fertile chicken eggs hatch in only 21 days with the right conditions. We will be keeping track of growth with a picture calendar. This will give us a sneak peek of what's happening inside the eggs.
Sometimes fertile eggs don't develop and grow, but we hope most of our eggs develop into healthy chicks. To make things fun, we will have a live webcam during hatching times!
This month, ask your child about our eggs and the stages of development they are learning about.
