The Moorhead High School People of Color Advocacy (POCA) took time out of their day to visit many Ellen Hopkins classrooms. POCA is collaborating with elementary schools to read books to students that are culturally relevant during heritage months, for example Native American heritage month and Hispanic Heritage month.
Students enjoyed stories and asking the "big kids" questions, too!
