Dear Parents/Guardians,
Dorothy Dodds Elementary will once again be participating in the “Fill the Dome” food drive. Between Monday Nov. 14h and Friday Nov. 18th, students are encouraged to bring in as many non-perishable food items as possible. Any non-perishable food items that are in a can, jar, or box will help with the cause. These items will be donated to the community-wide food drive which helps to stock the Great Plains Food Bank.
We are super excited about this project; in previous years, Dodds’ families have been amazingly generous and our school has been one of the top in donations! We are hoping to have another successful year!! Our goal this year is to collect at least 3,500 non-perishable food items. The class that brings in the most food items will receive a donut party!!!
Please start sending food items with your student on Monday, Nov. 14th.
Our last day to collect items is Friday, Nov. 18th.
