Robert Asp Elementary

Asp Families,

What a beautiful Sunday! It’s a short week of school this week due to Spring Break, but we have a long list of notes. Hopefully you can make it through the whole list!

  • Conferences: We had one night last week, and we’ll finish them this week!

    • Monday, March 11, from 4:00-7:30 pm

    • Wednesday, March 13, from 8:00-11:30 am

  • PTAC: Our Asp PTAC has two things going on this week - first, they are feeding our teachers tomorrow during conferences, and second, they are running the Book Fair! If you can help at either, please let them know by signing up in one of the links below:

    • Tacos for Teachers! (Monday, March 11) - Signup Genius to help

    • Book Fair Help (M-W, Mar 11-13) - Signup Genius to help

    • Book Fair Hours:

      • Mon 3/11: 3:30-7:30 pm (during conferences)

      • Tue 3/12: 2:30-4:30 pm (open after school)

      • Wed 3/13: 8:00-11:00 am (during conferences)

  • No School: It is only a two day school week this week. There is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

  • Excel: There will NOT be Excel on Tuesday, March 12th to provide teachers time to prepare for and host Parent Teacher Conferences. We are excited to see our Excel students again on Tuesday, March 19th!

  • Yearbooks: Order your yearbooks online here! They are $15/each and the order deadline is March 21. Credit/Debit cards only online. Paper copies of the order form went home if you want to pay by cash or check (made out to Robert Asp Elementary School)

  • Upcoming Family Events: We have two upcoming family events that we’d love to see everyone attend!

    • Story-Palooza: Thursday, March 21, 5:30-7:00 pm at Asp

      • Guest readers, book exchange, reader’s theater, games, stations for fun with reading and writing! Mr. Brady and Mrs. Moen will be playing some music and our PTAC will be selling some food!

    • Family STEM Night: Tuesday, April 23, 6:00-7:30 pm at Asp

      • A fun night with Science, Engineering, Math, and more!

Like we said, while it’s a short week of school, we had a lot to cover. We hope you made it through the list, but even more so, we hope you enjoy conferences and then the short break from school. Have a great week!
