Why are voters deciding on school funding this November? 🗳️
Because the Permanent School Fund rules are written into the Minnesota State Constitution, updating the funding distribution requires approval from voters statewide.
Here is what you need to know:
1️⃣ It modernizes how funds reach local classrooms.
2️⃣ It requires ZERO tax increases—no property, income, or sales tax changes.
Find out how this helps local education by reviewing the details on our ISD 152 Permanent School Fund Webpage or check the state legislative overview on the Minnesota House Public Information Services Summary.

Have you heard about the Permanent School Fund Constitutional Amendment coming to your ballot this fall? 🎓
This measure asks Minnesota voters whether to update how revenues from the state's existing school trust fund are distributed to local school districts. The best part? It will NOT raise your taxes or cost Minnesotans any extra money. It simply allows local schools to receive a larger portion of earnings generated by existing state assets.
Stay tuned every Tuesday and Thursday as we break down what this means for our schools!

Thank you to Lori Mattison, EOC/TRIO Advisor, for bringing a group of the Moorhead Adult Education High School Equivalency class for a tour of the MState campus in Moorhead. The students really enjoyed learning more about the variety of programs and potential career pathways.
We've gone mobile!
Moorhead Adult Education has operated a Certified Pearson VUE Testing Center since May of 2018. Today, at our Fergus Falls site, we launched a Certified Pearson VUE Mobile Testing Unit that brings the tests to our learners.
A big shoutout to Greg Softing, who was instrumental in making this possible! Wow! Our first tester, McKenzie, and our GED team are very excited for this new addition.
