School Overview
History
Moorhead High School's current building opened in September 1967 with an enrollment of 1,550 students. The school was significantly renovated in 2004. At that time the new ninth-grade center, commons and fieldhouse were added.
The ninth-grade center is comprised of three learning communities of ninth-graders who work closely with core teachers for language arts, math, science and social studies. The small learning communities create personalized learning environments for students and allow students to get to know each other and their teachers better.
