Community Education Instructors Wanted for Winter

Moorhead Community Education has a place for you and your talents. If you are passionate about your work or hobby and would like to share it with others, consider teaching a course for Moorhead Community Education. Lifecoach, April Leinen, remarks “[e]very time I get the Community Ed catalog there are so many classes I would love to take. So when considering a way to give people a glimpse into Life Coaching and sharing Oola, I couldn’t think of a better way!

You don’t need a license to teach. What our instructors have in common is a sincere interest in connecting with students who want to pursue shared interests. Malcolm Thompson, who teaches silversmithing, says that through teaching Community Education classes  “...I see the satisfaction in the eyes of the students as they leave the classroom with something they created.” This sentiment is echoed by Choices instructor, Stef Belschner, “I love seeing people get excited about the unique art they can make.”

We welcome teachers in all areas. We are experiencing a high demand for classes in arts and crafts, cooking, gardening and fitness. We invite you to contact us with your ideas or questions. Have a friend whose talents amaze you, encourage them to teach through Community Education too.
