Beginning this week, Moorhead Adult Education is welcoming 36 MSUM Education students to our classrooms for the spring semester. These teacher candidates are currently enrolled in Ed 310 which allows them to experience 10 hours in a classroom setting outside of their major.
The MSUM students will have the opportunity to practice their teaching skills working with adults ranging in academic ability from pre-literate to college ready. This opportunity also gives these future teachers a glimpse into what language barriers may exist for the families of the children in their future classrooms.
