Adult Basic Education

Moorhead Community Education fall classes are now open for registration. Hundreds of class options provide unique learning experiences for everyone. 

• Adults and kids alike are welcome to create their own acrylic masterpiece in guided painting classes like Painting Presents, CHOICES Canvas Paintings, Evening Stroll Canvas Painting and more with Laura Jean Ronngren.
• Put on your dancing shoes and join one of our Latin Dance Classes. Register as a couple or individually and learn the merengue, cumbia, bachata, salsa and more.
• Are you interested in learning a new language? Check out Beginner Chinese, Beginning Spanish for Adults and American Sign Language classes and expand your skills. 
• De-stress this holiday season with several different Yoga and meditation classes or check out one of the many fitness and wellness courses available to help you reach your fitness goals.
• Take one of our cooking classes and learn new recipes and skills. Join Drew Balstad and learn some classic Italian recipes or learn the art of cookie decorating with Katie Krumwiede.

Through Community Education, people of all ages and all abilities have the opportunity to learn and have fun in a multitude of classes.

• Anyone in the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas can take a class through Moorhead Community Education.
• District residents receive a discount on most classes.
• Fees vary for classes.
